Do I need to have any experience with painting to start learning with Jodie?
Absolutely not!. Years of teaching experience has made Jodie quite adept at catering to different levels of experience among her students.
What art supplies do I need to buy for the Paint-Along with Jodes classes?
You can see a list of the supplies you’ll need under ‘Materials’ in the menu.
Will I need my own art supplies for the Face-to-Face with Jodes Classes?
You have a choice. You can bring your own art supplies or I can supply everything you need from the studio.
Do I have to book in to every Zoom Paint-Along with Jodes?
No, you can attend all of them, or you may choose to do them fortnightly or monthly. You may just do one. We do a fresh new alla-prima painting every week so you won’t be missing out on anything. Just go to Workshops and purchase a ticket for the day you’d like to attend.
Can I just attend one Face-to-Face with Jodes, or do I have to book ahead?
You will need to pay for the Face-to-Face with Jodes classes a term in advance. The classes will lead on from one another progressively. You may attend your first one, and pay cash on the day, to see if it’s for you; but after that you would be expected to sign up for the term and we do not refund you if you take a class off. Each Term is a 10 week commitment (the same 10 weeks as the NSW State School Term).
